Any great bars in Gib and Canada harbours?
Thanks for all the help I’ve recently received
I’m sure Dad enjoyed the hospitality of most, if not all the bars mentioned.
I’m trying to put a book together. Just for myself and any interested family member.
I’ve been working on it for about 7 years and losing energy now so hopefully I’ll finish it soon.
Thank you
Bob

Have you got a title for the book, if not, may I suggest 'Other Peoples Memories'
If I remember rightly, and I apologise if I'm wrong, some years ago you wrote that your father was an habitual drinker, was a bully and not very nice to your mother, was always getting into trouble and had been arrested a number of times in foreign climes and was always the hard man. It seems now that you are trying to build a picture and portray him as some kind of folk hero, or is that just me being cynical.

Re: Any great bars in Gib and Canada harbours?
I never expected to have to apologise for my posts.
99% have prompted good responses that I assume contributors have enjoyed posting.
Like Lord Balfour said
“Nothing matters very much and very little matters at all”
If I didn’t get one response it wouldn’t affect my life.
I enjoy reading the responses and thank everyone for them.
Some are fantastic.
Doubt my “book” will ever be finished
Like Barcelona’s Gaudi
I try to get a picture of dad’s life. That’s all.
He was not as bad as you suggest
And he wasn’t a Bob Dylan, although he went many times to Duluth
A James Dean or Billy the Kid
Just a nobody like me and you in the end Ivan.

Alas Bob, I did not suggest anything, it was you who put the words in print. Yes I am a nobody, but I live my life through my own memories.
I wish you well in your endeavours.
