I totally agree with that Brenda - it is so big now that a lot of people go there for their research on a subject. That includes authors who write and publish books, webpages etc and then take the information and reprint, repost without doing follow-up research and ensuring accuracy before putting it out there, therefore compounding the problem. I hate lazy research and it's consequences so don't worry about having a moan about it - It is surely important that our history is reported accurately.

Brenda who is not a moany old woman, you are right, on their articles they ask anyone to put in comments , who checks them for accuracy?

Much of the inaccuracies begin in the media.
The writer does not do the homework and put in what they think is correct.
Many who set out to find info starting from such a point get a very wrong result.
I once wrote to Wikipedia to express my concern at a subject they had totally wrong.
They replied with more crap so I sent i n what is the correct story, never heard from them again.
