BBC Alba tonight.
On the above TV station at 22.00 hours there is a programme about the rescue of the crew of the Clan MacQuarrie.
Clan MacQuarrie ran aground on the Isle of Lewis during a storm in 1953.
Shoukld be an interesting programme, only one thing wrong it's in Gaelic, although there should be subtitles.

PS Alba is available on the I player

.. not “wrong” as it is a Gaelic channel.. just inconvenient for those, including me, that don’t speak it.

Normally there is a line at the bottom the film screen and you can choose from a selection of languages for the subtitles, you can also get it dubbed in English, although I do find foreign programes when in English, that the characters lose their character as the voices are flat with no expression or passion, perhaps its just me.
