Looks as if JS in WA will have a cool Christmas day.
Forecast is for up to 39 leading to the big day but only 30 on the day and cool at night with just 19.
Coldest Christmas since 2008 when it only got to 28 degrees,
Get your winter warmers out John.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

#8 It’s funny how one story can lead directly to others , when the news of the death of an old friend was sent to me by the widow of anther old mate Who also knew Carl Davison and we all knew another old shipmate also dead now a little Welshman who had also been a prisoner on the Altmark aged 16 at the time but was rescued off Narvik by the Cossack. I was also told not too far back that the book of Rememerance at the cathedral in Aberdeen was going to include all those who died in the North Sea in the oil industry were. Possibly going to be included from 1950 onwards so was able to ask her if it was the case , would she like her husbands name included which she was , so have sent this info.to a very old friend of most on this site to see what she can do . A bit mixed up and hard to follow maybe but sometimes there is something good comes out of bad news . Cheers A merry Xmas and hope it makes the Widows of lost seafarers know there are other seamen who do remember them as well as their spouses

#6... Cappy don’t bother answering this as just sending to see if it goes , is just a test message . Think have shut my email off whilst trying to clear a stuck message . Will see from this end whether it goes or not . Was stone sober when did it , if I did , otherwise was the gremlins . JS
