Re: Two kitchens Milliband
Flack here reporting for duty!!!
Yes we are having the oddest of Novembers I can ever recall.
Looking back through my records, yes still have some not all CD, there has not been one like it.
Back in the 80's, 90's and up until about 5 years ago there were always about 4 real good beach days prior to Christmas, 30 plus degrees.
They have gone missing of late.
Today maximum of about 12 which is closer to our winter temps, not spring.
But by the end of the week if the weather man have got it right, they do sometimes, we will have about 25 or 26 with more to come.
Still have heaters going, never after about Remembrance Day in past years so here comes the gas bill!!
But still only the doona for us, works well.
AS to sleeping in basic, started many years ago when I had to do a paper round, that was before the paper shop blew away, I had to get up at 0500 hours and ride my bike down to the shop and begin to deliver at 0600 hours.
Thought if I slept naked it would be easier to get out of bed quickly. But when you are just about ten years old your mind works very differently

Re: Two kitchens Milliband
Made a mistake yesterday, my wife said put a jacket on over your jumper, I should have listened, when we came out of the club it was so cold and the wind was so strong, I had trouble walking to the car, talk about bitter cold, thought I was back in the North Atlantic.

Now Des, tell the truth you had three schooners not two.
Cold down here and rain and wind, then the sun comes out, well for a few minutes then goes and hides again.
Must be shy!!

Re: Two kitchens Milliband
Warmer today, but the 'climate changers 'are at it again.
Doomsday according to them.
But in 1876 the floods were higher than now.
Remember,
'I love a sunburned country
A land of sweeping plains
Of rugged mountain ranges
Of droughts and flooding rains.'
Written many years ago and it was a reflection of the country
Still applies today
