Snap, happens with all of us Harvey. It was just a faint bell ringing in my mind. We were a year behind you, so we only crossed paths with you for that brief journey for a less than a year.

!957. West coast of India. I was on one of Ellermans (Happy Pappys) ships, Corinthian. We carried our labour around the ports and had our thunderbox lashed over the Starboard bow. After departing Cochin for Aden there was a ceremonial dumping of the whole kit and caboodle.into the Indian Ocean.

Sorry Cappy but I have to question the quantity of flies circling the thunderbox you mention as being in the‘millions’. ?? Hundreds of millions I can accept, but just millions? Perhaps it was a cold day.

It’s a catchy tune alright. So catchy in fact that some clown stole it and put it in an opera.
