In another life long long ago
the light of a ship at night i saw
i stood on lookout near the ships bell
the night was cold and she rose to a swell
from where had she come from
to where she would go
was something impossible for me to know
my relief arrived and my thoughts were sunk
and quick as a flash i shot of to my bunk
