The writing style is intended to be fast-paced and entertaining.

The book is available from Amazon and all good book sellers.

I would greatly appreciate any comments or reviews in due course.

    Hi Nick,
I have my father's Memoirs (30 odd years worth) and what you say is true - I did not believe some of what he had written - but on checking facts found were all correct, except the name of a church! His sea career starts from early 1939 as a newly-qualified Radio Officer, then all of WW11, followed by both Cunard Queens (the pinnacle of his career) then on until mid-60's. There is also some, what appears to be, secret stuff going on at one point but cannot get to bottom of it after years of trying and probably never will (even the ship's log for the relevant period is missing!). He explains, early on, that he is not going to detail actual war details but concentrates on some of the humorous people and episodes encountered during it. I remember of his little short snippets, "The Captain was a big man in port but no Nelson under fire." Good luck with the book. Cheers. H
