Used to charge 7pence to carry drunken sailors in the trolley ......round to that place u shared with mary ......woke them up and then charged them for some very strange practices....but promised i would keep it quiet....you kept carrying on about your 2 percent ....your input was greasing the trolley wheels.....................................once a year...R683532

I was only 15 Cappy and a virgin which I still am . Also I think Mary had two legs then so she was away with the older fellows . Have you still got your oilskins from the ferry with the Tyne Commisioners stamped on the back. You were supposed to hand them back in when you left and joined the trolleys , nearly said trannys there. Cheers JS....

    hi graham #27
good afternoon, i see you are in a chirpy disposition today and as always when im reading your missives i like to seek out the irony, and of course the ironic phrases as they are always a good read, But your definitive assumtion of the racism card being played by certain members has left little room to answer, as it automatically defines the writer as racist for holding certain views about london and its population, and as a matter of fact although the last time i was in london some years ago it was from what i saw then made me decide that its not a place i would like to visit again and certainly not live there, for instance i believe it was close to two and a half hours to get through the city and across the river to where i was heading, the amount of people all trying to exist in one space made me shudder and as i come from a small provincial town i certainly could or would not survive long living in the great metropolis called london.
as for immigrants, providing they are of a intelligent and compatible nature willing to work and willing to adapt and intergrate with the english, then they could possibly make a difference to the uk, and not just to their particular fellow country men keeping to their own gettos, and thus making life more difficult for the indiginous population they usurped , For instance the legal immigration figures for last year into this country was close to one million, and i dare say london is the place that they will decide to live, and as your great mayor is calling today for all immigrants to be given free dental and medical care that will mean the wait to even speak to a doctor is a million times longer, again for the housing ladder and every other system we the indiginous population rely on and paid our taxes for the privilege, what you say ? the national health system would collapse without these same immigrants, no the answer is definitely no as the more immigrants arrive the more the national health system will need more workers, its equivilent to a tape worm, but run by immigrants for immigrants,
my last word on the subject is what about the ten pound poms (which i nearly was one,) whom emigrated to aussie and new zealand, do you think they where cosseted and given first pick of the local housing, or anything else,do you think they where not called whinging poms or worse, do you not think that the idiginious population still do not moan or kick up about these f------ immigrants,
i hope you enjoy my retort, and do not think that my reply is anything other than a opposing view totally without malice,
so i hope you enjoy your holiday in portugal, and not need anything other than local hospitality, for as you must know its only we brits that have to pay for everything we want while the rest of the miscreants and bums and stiffs get it for nothing when being washed ashore on our beaches, or any other method they may use to enter our country.

Malcolm, If you wish to leave the UK, you may have to pay to board a ship. Flying or the channel tunnel is a option of course. Maybe you are one of those new fangled wild simmers, Dover to Calais the shortest route.
My last time on a vessel was a ferry from Rosyth to Zeebrugge on a package holiday. The North Sea was like a mill pond, could not believe it.

Try getting over to England from the Isle of Wight, mind the price they charge, you should be going on a full blown cruise lol

Bill my retort was somewhat tongue in cheek, in fact I have spent a small fortune on Brittany Ferries comuting once a week to France for 6 years, probably why I dont want to pay any more
