    Default Mayflower

The unmanned fully automatic ship MAYFLOWER, broke down whilst crossing the Atlantic.
Rescue ships have had to tow her back to port.

As there were no humans aboard it, they should have left it to drift and let the mighty Atlantic dispose of it.

There have been tests around the USA coast with such ships, fine when they work as intended, but then again..............

Here in Melbourne the other day a Tesla EV with auto driving control hit a tree, you may well ask what was a tree doing in the road, but the fact is what was the car doing chasing a tree.

So far no one has an explanation as to why this occurred, just that the auto driver failed.
