no bill just pure boredom today ...its bitter cold so didnt stay out with my dog for long and not a visitor all day....so spliced the mainbrace but very gently .....regards cappy

only place i never ever went ashore ...dont think there was much anyway ....was sept isles in dec jan .....minus 10 to minus twenty.....in my older years now minus 3 or four has me puffing .....so stay indoors....but do remember seeing ist massive icebergs....and stepping out accom to chuck water in the air which turned to ice or snow as it fell.....no work on deck mainly but soogeing inboard all ovies and plenty of it R683532

Its not so much the cold, its the damp that makes it worse round here. There was a case a few years back where an Eskimo woman shot off back to Alaska cos it was too cold here.

Tony, I must agree there, from what I remember of English winters was the damp, gest into your bones and stays there for a long time.
Here we have similar with humidity, gets a bit much at times.
