    TRAGIC!
    It is mid winter there now,. gets really bad.

    I have rounded the Cape three times, twice quite rough, and once the sea a was like glass

    I rounded the horn a number of times on the Otaio, the NZSCo cadet training ship. Love this photo of her, though her funnel does not have the crossed flags on it.
