i did put a post here a few years ago about crew less ships but some said it would never happen? they would never rely be crew less someone has to see all is ok on them? jp

I see that the International Dockworkers association in the USA declared yesterday that they will not handle autonomous vessels in USA ports , as they say it is the thin edge of the wedge for dispensing with all seafarers and dockworkers, as autonomous machines will be introduced to handle crewless vessels

yes it is Lewis, so is London Gateway, Singapore etc, but some have now decided to take a stand,I wish them luck, but fear that the big bucks will win in the end.
