Default U.K. crew member killed on board tanker

From the Metro, the vessel is a Zodiac Marine tanker and they have close links to an Israeli billionaire.

Apparently the U.K. national was a security guard on board, the other person killed was a Rumanian seaman.
The attack was carried out by a sophisticated drone and the Israeli government are blaming Iran.

we went down to the sea to work travel and a way of life not for some crackpot to say kill you just for the publicity i personally would give publicity for them never ever doing an act like this again and when not if it kicks off there it will not just be one strike the whole bloody area will go up i am not a war monger but something will and should be done as a lesson for the future we all know its because the Israelis are involved but none killed were of that nation ? jp

As of today 04/08/21 BBC reports an asphalt tanker, MV Asphalt Princess, has been hijacked off the coast of UAE, guess who the suspected hijackers are.

For many years Israel has been preparing for war against Iran while waiting for the green light from US. They have killed Iranian scientists, caused explosions and launched cyber attacks. The US has applied crippling sanctions to destabilise the Iranian government. As yet there has not been evidence published as to who carried out the attack on the Israeli managed tanker which caused the death of two men.
The question is, after twenty years of conflict in Afghanistan, costing trillions of dollars and huge loss of life, is the US ready to engage in another long and bloody war. Let us hope the answer is no.

In history, us, the Russians, the USA, the Afghanistan wars have always ended the same way, with a withdrawal by whoever was invading. The main problem today is with easy travel and movement, it will spread out to other parts of the world, you cannot reason with these stone age people with weapons. I think the Yanks will keep very quiet on this one this time, kt

#7 It goes back to before the U.S. ever existed Louis right back to Babylon times and the Israelites or some of them being released from bondage and building the The second Solomon’s Temple. It’s just as much a backlog of history as a present day problem. It’s all in the Bible or the Koran or whatever ancient scrolls you want to peruse. Cheers JS.

    Very true John.

The problems of the middle east will never go away, it is somewhat engrained in not just the religious way but in the culture of so many.
But for some reason the only people you see in most TV coverage are the men, where are the females, do they exist?

For the USA fighting such wars is more a way of life for many rather than just an attempt to sooth troubled waters.
It soaks up numbers when there is a USA recession, it make use of the munitions they continue to manufacture, cannot store for ever, and keeps the USA troops engaged.

It also shows the world that they are there and will remain so.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Life is too short to blend in.

If one stopped to think about it in those terms then North Korea which has the biggest number of armed personel per capita of any world country and has yet to employ those forces must be champing at the bitt. Is it just a way to keep millions employed or are they there for warlike aggression ?, still remains to be seen. They can’t be just there for bargaining power no nation will take threats forever. The best way in my thinking is to just let those who want to be aggressive with their neighbours to let them get on with it, and keep it restricted to their own area and within their own borders. These countries have had thousands of years of so called civilisation long before the rest of the world and should by rights be old enough to choose their own way of life. Just do not assist them by arming anyone with sophisticated weaponry. JS
