    Hi cappy
Did he have any other first name that you are aware of, as only ones that come up that may point to him are

Martin Berntsen Able Seaman Born 1856 Age 45 Norway on a Foreign Ship in 1902 Also possibly on a Ship Juanita 1881 and B Hilton from Yarmouth Nova Scotia.
Will keep looking as well though!
    Cheers

PS There is a Crew list for the Egyptian Prince Built in the 1879 at the Maritime Division of Records at Canadian University .

    Hi Cappy.
Can't put a name to it but there was a sailing ship in the second world war that was stopped; the crew were told to abandon, and she was sunk. Couldn't have been by someone who loved those lovely ships.
