I think the Germans are pizzed off with Macron and France , unless I have missed it but the Krauts are staying very quiet.
Also a fishing problem in the Pacific North West. Our fishing problem is with the Yanks.*Borders at both ends of Canada.Who owns the fish. Some spawn in Alaska, and run through Canadian waters. Re: typical bleedin frogs
What the Press and other Media experts have missed, and I don't think intentionally, is that the two grey funnel vessels sent over to Jersey were in fact fishery patrol vessels and possibly sent over to defuse the situation, as they are used to dealing with, French, Spanish, English fishermen knowing about fish and speaking the same language both in verbal and fish terms. The RN personnel will probably have met some of them before on their regular stopping and boarding in the Channel and Approaches and the fishermen will have known that these guys are fair and may well have listened to them as the situation calmed down.

Re: typical bleedin frogs
The press mainly bigging it all up:
One headline:
HMS Tamar sails home to Portsmouth after seeing off rowdy French fishermen with HMS Severn in the 'Battle of St Helier' off Jersey coast.
After seeing off rowdy French ? Well not quite cricket, did turn up and were home for tea.
The Royal Navy River-class offshore patrol vessel has welcomed home after the French threatened to blockade Calais instead.
Apparently, Boris Johnson and Emmanuel Macron will try to restore 'brotherly' relationship amid post-Brexit chaos. It comes as Boris Johnson and Emmanuel Macron are set to hold emergency 'peace talks' to end the 'Battle of Jersey'.
Boris and Macron hold emergency 'peace talks' to end 'Battle of Jersey' after French fishermen threaten to blockade CALAIS and warn major Brexit trade routes are next on their list of targets

Re: typical bleedin frogs
Saw one bit in the news where a French fishing boat rammed a local one.
Not cricket old chap, give way to the small ships you know.
But what a load of s*** hawks they are in France, why cut the people of the Chanel islands off they have done nothing wrong!
How long before others in EU begin to question the whole shambles, very petty stuff in my opinion.
Happy daze John in Oz.

The channel Island were forced to put up with the Natzi's, doubt
a few few boats would be to worrying. Most likely, will welcome
the French as friends next visit. Jersey tourist board won the best coupe.
