    Hi Lewis
The frogs used TAHITI as a Nuclear testing ground.
killing hundreds of innocent peaceful Polynesians

when they complained they were attacked by the French military
That is why they should be treated the same.

What a disgusting race of animals. [ sorry animals]

When I was working the Great Lakes to Newfoundland, and carrying fish products back to Chicago, the fishing boats working the Canadian waters were mostly Portuguese that was 1958

Every body has fished all over the place. The UK fleets in the Atlantic , Greenland and Iceland. The Chinese are just doing what they like , the Russian down of the west African coast. The Japanese & Norway would fish the seas empty of those wonderful whales.
This is all about Brexit and the French & Macron needing to stir up the populace and hoping a strong stance will improve his image.
I think the Germans are pizzed off with Macron and France , unless I have missed it but the Krauts are staying very quiet.

Guess this is humour, rather than reality.

One thing I did notice HMS Severn or HMS Tamar would not be passing any emissions test anytime soon. The crap and black smoke looked as if she was soot blowing.

Readers of UK newspapers could be forgiven for thinking that events in the sea near the Jersey capital Saint Helier were the beginning of a full-scale war.

While British coverage thundered about “gunboats” and “war”, the French media was, typically, more restrained than its UK counterpart.

Only a handful of French reporters were sent to the area to cover the events, while one commentator on French TV noted that there were more British journalists than fishing boats at the scene.

There was a time I am sure you all remember when at secondary school we were taught French.
At that time it was considered to be the global language and all nations would use it.
They must be a bit miffed now as good old English rules the roost, sorry about that bit Lewis, it is all over the airwaves on all flights.

I too had to learn it, but all I can remember is.
La plume de ma taunt est the jarden of my oncle.
(excuse the spelling it has been along time)Why would any one need to know that the pen of their aunt was in the garden of their uncle.

No wonder they are the way they are.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
