We have stayed on board the QM many times in Long Beach,
A wonderful ship great memories, even had special rates and royal suites and wonderful Dinners as invited guests.Should have been on her again last March, Virus cancelled it
Hope she survives

Re: Queen Mary
I was on her in 1986. It was tired and dirty way back then. Cannot imagine it has improved any in the last 35 years. It should never have ended up over there. If it had to become a hotel it should have been in New York.

Re: Queen Mary
The Queen Mary was bought by the Americans for only £250,000. They removed the 4 propellers , Mounted one on the quayside the other 3 were
melted and made into souvenirs from which they recovered their £250,000, I read that some time ago.
