HI John.
My type of bloke, a five bob bottle of Penfold's and I'm anybody's. Though now it's anything up to $fifty, no wonder the Chinese are complaining.
One of my old pubs in Sydney, the Green Park Hotel in Darlinghurst is closing down, apparently St Vincent's Hospital is expanding, maybe the Drs want a drink after hours.

There was only him and me turned up plus 5 women Des. Custom is the members all put put $10 dollars in the kitty and drink wine at 3 dollars a glass .Beer is $8 dollars so couldn’t appear to be a pig, so joined the custom of the trade . Haven’t figured out yet the 5 women in the scheme of things all perfumed and lipsticked , All apparently widows. Maybe they were Elvis fans and were lonesome tonight ? JS

HI John.
Must have felt like old times, two seamen with Five birds, to many glasses of wine and you'd be dangerous.

Dangerous to myself Des, would either have a heart attack or the wife would kill me, too close to home. in fact half a cable too close. JS.

Only way to get over that is to take her with you.
Remember when 8 of us went to the pub in London, all put in one pound and got 8 pints each.
Lucky to get 2 now for that.
