Three new patrol boats are under construction for the Border Force, their prime objective will be
(i) stop illegal immigrants
(ii) Take them on board
(iii) Ferry them to the nearest UK port
(iv) thus saving the illegal immigrants a ferry fare
(v) hand them over to local authorities who will ensure they are housed, fed, provided with funds, a satellite TV to enable them to watch programmes in their own language, give them legal advice on how they can bypass all the usual long winded process of becoming a legal immigrant, Then they can live happily ever after safe in the knowledge that they can invite their relatives to join them in the golden land and help change the very nature of the country that gave them succour in the first place. And, if we should dare to complain, we will be called racist, fined or jailed for exercising our right to free speech.

I read on the news this morning that Care4Calais a migrant charity is calling for all migrants to be given a legal means to enter the country, forgive me if i have missed something, but i thought the legal route has always been there, fill in the paperwork with your passport, and post it. How can these people claim asylum ?, ie their lives are in danger, if they have already travelled through at least 3 free countries to get here, ending in France ?, kt

Funny how the French dont attract any criticism, it must be easier to stop them launching from their beaches than anywhere else and leaving it to us to pick up the pieces.

If the French *friends* of ours were to accept them back, after all its the EU leaky borders + freedom to roam that allows them there, it would stop overnight. It worked in greece sending them back to Turkey. kt

oh i forgot to say i always knew that these illegals did not push a dinghy off the beach in france i always thought that it was the french fishermen whom where taking them out to mid-channel and when you see facts like those of the deaths last night you relise that because of the forecast being adverse that only idiots in small boats go out in dinghies to one of the busiest channels in the world and on the back-end of a spring tide, and so these so called illegal immigrants took the chance by themselves and paid the price.
so if they had taken the easy way backed by the french goverment paid for by the british tax payer they would have been supping tea or coffee in a nice hotel now and putting their names down on the local housing list, ( but then again they dont need to ) only indigenous britsh people have to.
anyway as im shore bound its back to my decorating with a quick glance at the site now and again.
