N.S.T.S World War Two
For you MN History Buffs, I have managed to get my late Dad's documents from the Kew Archives and I have a copy of his Seamans ID Card dated 1945/02/17, I have a reference to the N.S.T.S Newcastle, I think this was the training centre he attended before he was issued his ID Card , what does the abbreviation mean and is there any information on it.
Thanks in advance

Re: N.S.T.S World War Two
Peter NSTC stands for National Sea Training School Newcastle. There is already a thread on the site about the school which you might find informative, unfortunately it is beyond my capabilities to post the thread. I am sure some of the more computer literate members or moderators will help you find it or to transfer you to the thread. If you are impatient try entering your query in the advanced search engine at the top right hand of the page or in the Sea Training School Thread, Cheers J.W.
