TV Channel 81
Watching a programme on the above station it's called "A Day Begins in Manchester (1960's). Fantastic shots of the docks every berth has a ship, all of companies consigned to history.
Not word spoken, but great music.
This station usually repeats programmes, well worth looking out for.

Re: TV Channel 81
Vic, Your post reminded me of a conversation i had with a guy a few weeks ago he said he was an A,B, So i entered into conversation with him i explained that i had done voyages and on return to the Mersey had spent days anchored at the bar light ship awaiting a berth to pay off, No way i am not having that he said the bar is only a drop of point for the pilot, I wasn't going there with this plank memories memories Happy days lads Terry.
