Re: Cruising, returns.
Vic
Mien Schiff is a pretty regular caller to the Tyne and a while ago saw it listed on the port of Tyne shipping movements as been expecting to berth.
Unfortunately their shipping movements section is down at the moment so cannot check if she is due in. Mind you if she was there outings to various parts of the north east may be restricted.

Re: Cruising, returns.
Couple of other ones that mainly sail with German passengers aboard.
Slowly some are getting their feet wet again, but majority will not start again until early 2021.
Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: Cruising, returns.
I wouldn’t mind betting every ship on the high seas will be making sure their de-ratification certificates are up to date. Will probably be the first thing the Port Health Will want to sight. Don’t think it will be any too easy to get
radio pratique for some time until things settle down. JS

Re: Cruising, returns.
There is all manner of talk about cruise ships and airlines and how and when they will restart.
One 'expert' there are so nay who love to use the titles, said airlines would not resume normal service until 2024?
QUANTAS said they hope to begin some international flights by January 2021.
Cruise companies are all looking at resuming as soon as possible, lot depend son where they go.
But both will want to get back to as normal as possible as soon as possible.
No money made sitting in port or at an airport.
Happy daze John in Oz.
