Cmv
Cruise Maritime Voyages (CMV) has announced that they come is now in liquidation.
Financial rescue packages have failed to materialise. The company operates five ships, a mixture of leased and owned.
They planned to obtain a further two ships next year.
Meanwhile Meyer Werft the German Shuipbuiler is furlough ING staff for six weeks.
Both items are because of the pandemic.

Re: Cmv
Folks who booked cruises with CMV that were cancelled by CMV in early May onwards should by now have received a letter from ABTA explaining how to get their deposits or full payments back via the ABTA support system.
Those who booked via a Travel Agents should first contact them.
Those who booked directly with CMV (as I did) need to contact their bank with evidence to show they paid by credit card / debit card / etc and also provide their bank with a copy of the ABTA letter.
The bank should then do their tasks, and get the money paid back into your account.
It is a slightly dreary process, but an essential one to get one's money back.
