Re: Qe2
Cunard took delivery of a new Queen Elizabeth in 2010. Known variously as the QE and the QE3, that cruise ship was approximately the same length as the QE2 but with a slightly greater displacement, of more than 90,000 tons.

Re: Qe2
I also did the world cruise on Queen Elizabeth ,[3] in 2012
not as good as QE2 it had a crew of Eastern Europeans
who were all pig ignorant and unhelpful.
Crew on QE2 were all Filipiinos and excellent.

A snippet of info here. I sailed from Southampton on her beginning of Dec last year en-route to Fremantle. Mixed crew mostly Philippine who were very friendly with the odd few Eastern Europeans who were a bit abrupt in mannerism but to be fair I think a lot is the way they have been brought up in a restrictive environment and that it is in their genes..

Re: Qe2
Philippines appears to currently provide the majority of cruise line crew.
Most are very friendly and appear to have a wonderful way of remembering you even if it was a year since they last saw you.
Work hard and enjoy the work, always willing to make sure you get what you want.
