Cruising
Carnival have just announced that they are to sell six cruise ships.
Wonder who will buy them?
CMV in the UK announces that have problems, Barclay's Bank refused them a £25m loan from the Gonvernment backed scheme.

Re: Cruising
If you look on the net there are about 20 or so cruise ships up for sale.
Many such as the Sun Princess are over 25 years old and getting past their use by date.
Most of the Carnival ones are in this category, they have to go to make way for the new additions to the various fleets.
From information received the demand for cruises next year for Oz is about 15% above the rate normally at this time of year.
Reduces prices will see a big influx of cruisers, some new, which is what the companies want in the hope they will become regulars.
Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.

Re: Cruising
I think they are all going in for real heavy cleaning, which should be good news, but unfortunately the bit they cannot clean is the cargo they carry. Should be some cheap deals available, but its home based holidays for me, but not for a while, kt
