Laura Mersk
Saw on line photos of exhaust turbine explosion on the Laura Mersk.
Photos were on Fleetmon. Com can't find them now.
E. R. Blackened and in darkness.
Reminds of a time on th Ranald, sailing at 17.5 knots, ships bow dipped, we slowed down, alarms were going mad.
Alarm panel in E. R. was lit up like a Christmas tree.
One of the exhaust turbo blowers packed in.
Arrival Cape Town, ABB came on board spent three days stripping and cleaning blower.
