I value your assistance & direction, again. Re: Cargo reports during W W Two.
H.M.S Patroller was loaded at N.O.B. Norfolk ( VA. ) on November 26, 1944 and arrived in Glasgow on December 14, 1944 via " my " convoy CU-49 while ferrying aircraft. With the remote possibility any records survived, would the original bills of lading / cargo manifests be located at the ports of origin or destination OR a separate depository and under whose authority ? This could have been War Shipping Administration / U.S. Navy / Royal Navy / Lend Lease business. Any thoughts are appreciated, THANK-YOU !

I would think any records during her RN period would be with our MOD.

As far as i know all Records relating to the Convoys were kept High Secret and are not available , but this is not gospel just what i have heard over the Years
