    Same here on the Warwick Castle had an 8 Berth Cabin, very cramped and hot through the Tropics and Suez etc, but we managed as always!
    Recall the times we used the old Air Scoop in the Portholes so as we could get some Air Flow,they were quite good actually!

    I did two trips on the Warwick Castle in the late 50's and early 60's. before I went into the army catering corps. made myself at home.

    I was on her from Jan to May 59 Asst Stwd. When were you on her and in what Capacity, i may have your details on my Crew List?? Not from Grangetown were you??

    Those air scoop were fine, until there was the occasional rouge wave then the cabin may well have had the deck washed even if it did not need it.

    Second steward Snowden, think we had him on the Windsor at one time.
