Would love to wake up in any of the bunks I slept in now as miss the buggers. Did not go much on the cabin on the Esso Chelsea as it was basically an oiler doing the rounds of power stations on the Thames so most crew would go ashore most nights as they where local lads and the cabin stunk of sweaty socks and dirty clothes. Only did five days on her as this was the discharge to clean my book. Like the double cabins as that meant that it was one of the real ships of the day and would be as they said? Chatty but happy.
