The only Pic that i know of is the Union Castle House in Canute Road Southampton which of course was a merger of the Union Steamship Company at one time . All a bit Technical as there were others involved as well.

Re: Wanted
Well remember the Grand Hotel, though the exact location escapes me at present.
From the old photos I cannot say it is what I recall.
But I do know that going in there looked very different to when you came out some times.
Happy daze John in Oz.

You are correct in saying Adderley Street however it was on the Corner of Strand and Adderley Streets to be exact! LOL Remember the days sitting outside on the Balcony having a nice cool Castle Lager with a small dash of Lime ! Watching the World go by ,viewing the old Station and the Parade Squae with all its Stalls on a Market Day, the Hustle and Bustle it was great those days.

Re: Wanted
Yes it is all coming back to me now.
I know I have raised it before but just up the road from there, up the Strand, was the Manchester Hotel which it would appear I am the only one to remember it.
But it did exist and I had some very good meals in the upstairs restaurant.
Maybe the restaurant was called the Manchester, possible I guess!!
