Discharge Book No. This is what all the ships her served on would have been recorded in.

I'll check my files, but I think I may have a copy of the Survivors Report from the loss of this ship and probably mentions the ships Master losing his hand. Will update when I can.

I do have a copy of the Survivors Report from the Phidias. The file size is to big to upload to this site, so if you send me a PM with your email address, I will forward you a copy.

Hi there, sorry i know this is an old post (never joined a forum before took me a while to figure out what to do!) I've been doing research on my grandad, and remember him telling stories about his time in the Merchant Navy, but only recently discovered he was on board the SS Phidias. It would be incredible if i could also get a copy of the Survivors report? i'll DM my email address if so! thanks, any help would be greatly appreciated!

My grandfather was also a survivor of the SS Phidias, are you able to send me this report as well so I can add it to my records? I'll also DM my email address. Thanks in advance.

Edit: I was also told he was later on a second ship that was sunk during WWII, though I haven't found the name of that one yet. Possibly the ST Margaret
