The shipping industry and global warming
New regulations coming into force shortly means that the shipping industry must use fuel with 0.5% sulphur content or fit exhaust gas scrubbers in order to reduce the the amount of harmful emissions. However read the attached for a different view on exhaust gases emitted from vessels.
