Re: Tankers attacked
An Iranian official told the BBC: "Iran has no connection with the incident."
"Somebody is trying to destabilise relations between Iran and the international community," the senior official added.
Oil prices rose as much as 4.5% from a near five-month low following Thursday's incident, Bloomberg reports.
It comes a month after four oil tankers were attacked off the UAE.
No group or country has claimed responsibility for that incident, which caused no casualties. Me thinks different Terry.

Lets hope they are, because they are in Iran, and there is a danger of them becoming political pawns in the tit-for-tat game that is about to start

Re: Tankers attacked
Sadam always kept Iran in check, until that STUPID BLIAR took him out, and ever since Iran has been flexing his muscles.
You cannot trust Iran.
I had an experience in Iran that I am not allowed to speak about, what I saw was not nice.

Re: Tankers attacked
This update apparently shows Iranian special forces removing unexploded limpit mines from the hull of one of the tankers.

Re: Tankers attacked
I think Iran kept Iraq in check when the Shah was in charge. Then the USA pulled their support shah.jpg then this basket case decided to return to Iran from Francekhomeini2.jpg. The Americans have always wanted a boggy man in the middle east. The west never wants the middle east to live in peace and harmony. If they did the price of oil would go through the roof.
