    Cann't find names at the moment. L-R Blue Star, Port Line, Port Line, Federal SN ? NZSC.
    Did USSC have one with twin funnels?

    Sorry Louis,there is no clue of the date.
    I found the pictures on the "All at sea" facebook page.
    Since found a date 1953.

    I remember Auckland very well,I spent Christmas there in 1958.

    Picture No. 2 clearly shows Cunards Caronia alongside, more than likely on one of her many world cruises. I sailed on three of them.

    Photo #4 Without doubt SS&A "Gothic" with white hull Royal world tour 1953. A very sad end in 1968!
    Photo #3 Top SS&A Akaroa(2) b/u 1954 Second top SS&A Arawa(3) b/u 1955.

    Photo # 1 Donaldson Line Captain Cook or Letitia maybe. Ship with black funnel with white band.

    Mike I doubt you would recognize any of it now, such big changes.

    Even between end of 2015 and 2018 there were some major changes to the twon.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

    Life is too short to blend in.
