Looking for information on Stephen Blenkinsopp

We are doing family research to ascertain citizenship rights within the family. I am trying to find out more about the work that Stephen Blenkinsopp did for Shaw Savill from Sept 1964 onwards. I understand he sailed between New Zealand and Japan/return. Can anyone help me and let me know if Stephen was working for a UK crown service.

So this shows that he was Employed by the British Merchant Navy you will also need to look at his CRS10 which will have all his Seagoing Career with the Merchant Navy

His CRS10 will hild a list of all Ships he served on.

Link here can be requested from Kew but if you can it will be better to go yourself.

That has been really helpful thank you - we are in New Zealand so Kew is a little far to travel.

Will have to try and request the Papers then online ,sometimes a bit difficult,but if you d make certain that you give the Reference Number for his Pouch as well as the Ref Number for his CRS10 and any other info you have at hand.
Otherwise it will mean virtually hundreds if not thousands of pages they have to search through and that is not possible . So as much info on him as possible is the order of the day.
