Denholm
Hi All, I am trying to contact my cousin GARY PEARCE. I believe he worked for DENHOLM and Souter Shipping. We've lost contact for over 40 years, Gary would now be about 60. He may have been a master at some stage of his career.
Thank you for any help.

Re: Denholm
Have you a middle Initial or place or area...There are 29 Gary Pearce's born between 1959 to 1961, more info would help.

Re: Denholm
Hi Frederick, thank you for your reply. I can't remember Gary's middle name. I guess he would have started his career around late 70's. At sea most of his life, i am sure his Dad said he was a captain ? .... he worked for Souter shipping too at some point.

Re: Denholm
Steve, Has he got any connection with Liverpool , By that I mean marriage/ Family/ Reason I ask I was in one of Denholm's ships And last New Year I got talking to a guy who was sailing the next day he was a Capt with Denholm and was only here visiting family or I should say his wife's family. He did tell me he would have a longer conversation next time we met as he is a regular visitor to Liverpool through family ties long shot but you never know the age is about right Terry.

Re: Denholm
Hi there,
Spotted the thread re your cousin. If you do have success, pleasepass on the following - just fresh this past week:
"I have recently been approached by Christopher and Richard Souter, who are hoping to have a re-union of Souters personnel in the near future. Nominally WA Souter & Co (pre 1980) but they will not turn away any later employees who joined under the Souter Hamlet or Souter Shipping banners. They have so far contacted mostly office personnel (Lynn Fantozzi, Brian Hedley, Ray Nelson, Gary Patterson, etc), but are keen to expand it to include sea staff.
Can I please refer you to Souter.lads@gmail.com, which is the address set up to coordinate this? Please send a message and details will be forwarded as known. If they get enough interest quickly enough, they will look for Summer 2020, if not later. Venue Newcastle.
Naturally - please spread the word to any ex-Souters guys you are still in touch with - that is going to be the most effective means of contact."
Kind regards,
Steve.
