and no i realise that veterans of the GREAT WAR are now gone.
but ww 2 ? a great many were lost also.
but im sure some of them are still here.
and their families!

The Queen and members of the Royal Family will attend a service of commemoration at the Cenotaph in London.
She will also attend a service at Westminster Abbey, accompanied by The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent and Prince Michael of Kent.

Apart from a wreath being laid at the Cenotaph, I didn't see or hear any mention of the Merchant Navy? Perhaps I missed it?

Chris, Armistice was signed on 1/11/1918, which called for the cease fire. Treaty was not formally ratified until 28/6/1919.
