Re: Ships Bell.
When I was sounding f/w and ballast tanks I would write m.t if a tank was empty. Nothing to do with your question but it is good to see you back on your feet and posting again.
Hope you are on the road to recovery.

Re: Ships Bell.
Mt Brocklebank is was built in 1964, for the Alexandra Towing Company Ltd. of Liverpool. The tug was acquired by the Liverpool maritime museum in 1989, but still proudly wears the previous owners colours and house flag when she visits other ports around the country. She is maintained by members of the Wincham Preservation Society. An enthusiastic group of Volunteers, all of who have an interest in ships and the sea.
Since 1989 the Brocklebank has flown the flag for the Museum at various sea festivals around the country such as Glasson Dock, Barrow, Whitehaven, Silloth, Leith, Bristol as well as Liverpool. She has also been to Dublin, Arklow and Cork in Douarnenez, and Brest and Honfleur in France. She was proud to represent Liverpool and the Museum at the 2005 Royal Fleet Review in the Solent followed by the International Festival of the Sea in Portsmouth.

#1... Jim think it was you one time said that apart from being on the Pennyworth at a different time than me , also said you were on he Exmoor at a later date , this would have been after they were under Anchor Lines roof in Glasgow. If was you when were you on her. You weren’t on her on the Red Sea run with all the freebies given away to certain states were you ? Think the last port in that part of the world was Mogadishu when the French were pulling out, before the ship came back to Liverpool . .cheers JS.
