I paid a visit to the Irvine Museum as I
was that way to do with the City of Adelaide.

I have tried so hard to contact her - adverts in newspapers, social media etc - problem is I don't know who she was - she talked in my ear while I was holding a different conversation - odd I know - but by the time my conversation had finished she had gone - very, very, frustrating.

Unfortunately, the Scottish Maritime Museum couldn't help.

Yes 38 Union Avenue was the family home for many years.

Yes I combed through the Post Office directories but they were sadly lacking in photos! :-)

Personally, I do not use pay sites, I have found generally much can be found and hopefully other members
of the team may yet help that have accounts with ancestry, find my past etc.

I finally got a photo of my relatives a few years ago after near 10 years of trying. It was via a distant
relative.
