Re: Cammell Lairds.
I hope Camell Lairds finds out who the anonymous source is and sue him or her. I worked by on a tanker in 1957 there. It was ok then, even though that was 60 years ago.
Nice to see you back Jim.
John.

Re: Cammell Lairds.
It will be interesting to see what happens to CL. I am not convinced that any success will be down to local labour as we have to be frank and live with imported skills. Not a bad thing. Furthermore, it is hoped that the management learned a lot from the 'Costa' debacle and ensure that future contracts are watertight. Good luck to them.

Re: Cammell Lairds.
I gave up taking a daily newspaper a few years ago no matter which one you had whether it was one of the red top tabloids or one of the huge broadsheets they all put a political spin on what they want you to read it's a shame that somebody didn't invent a newspaper that just told the truth trouble is if they did it probably wouldn't be Sensation enough to make wonderful sales

Re: Cammell Lairds.
On a topic such as CL, best to speak to people who are/were on senior management level and who will give it to you straight.
