Container ship blocks Durban entrance
This ship broke its moorings in a storm and drifted off, blocking the entrance channel

Yes I saw that Video on Facebook plus all the other damage caused by that Storm,very unusual for Durban but then the Weather is changing all over!

When the wind gets you broadside on a loaded container ship, like the car carriers, the forces are immense, but then again should have doubled up on the moorings if they knew the storm was coming, but hindsight is wonderful

Ivan I am sure you will have looked at MSC's safety record , which compared to other major box boat operators is not very impressive. Pay peanuts and you get monkeys !!!!
