I could not believe it, last Tuesday I went to my ex Seaman brothers Funeral, I only had one small glass of wine.
    What has happened to me?

John, we wish, a pint here on the Isle of Wight adver ages around the £4 mark. I think I posted before, some 7 years ago I met up with an old shipmate of mine who now lives in Canada, when we sailed he was a heavy drinker, as myself, he would be lairy after having a few, but has not touched a drop for thirty years now. I think when we met up he was concerned that I would try and talk him into having a wet, absolutely not, I have the greatest of respect for anyone who has decided to abstain, and I assured him off that. I only wish I had the same will power when it comes to food !!, I,m carrying too much weight, this weight went cock eyed when I packed up smoking, prior to that they had to peg me down in the wind, kt

When I swallowed the anchor and got married. The wife always kept some money in an old tea pot.
That was for me when I got to missing the sea. Which was often.
Would use it to go to the pub instead of work.
Think that saved our marriage of 50+ years.
