Re: Drink
I'm not a fan of Corbyn(or the present day Labour party for that matter)Tony Blair Mrs Blair Brown,Prescott and what go's on in the Tory party doesn't concern me.The point being the use of the like button. Not interested in the story just posted by Brian didn't read it.Brian (who doesn't vote Tory) loves to post anything anti Labour, was delighted to post the picture of John Prescott asleep in an armchair whilst on a cruise, was he drunk dont' know but Brian will.I find the whole scenario very childish.
Regards.

Re: Drink
Marian one of the council schools I went to had 4 houses, trying to emulate a grammar school I suppose. I was in Redpath House and their motto was " manners maketh man ". That must be 68 years ago, funny how some things you never forget. Won't say I practised them though , JWS

Re: Drink
Now Jim Lad,
don't be so grumpy.
It is only something that passes the time on a dull afternoon.
Prezzer was on the QE2 cruise as a Freebie so he could give a few lectures, Not a success. He didn't do them all and I was told he had to be confined to hs cabin for the rest of the voyage for some strange reason..
Here is the offending photo.
Cheers
Brian

Re: Drink
Now now Jim allow a little leeway here, Brian didn't take or publish the picture it was in the Public Domain courtesy of a newspaper and we all know Prescott is in reality a bit of a clown anyway and not averse to using other peoples efforts and name them as his own thoughts, can't imagine him having an original thought and we still don't know what secret he held on Blair

Re: Drink
I originally posted that photo a few years ago,
The QE2 has been gone now for Nine Years, so you have a very good memory Jim, Nowt wrong with that.
I just do not criticize Labour Politicians I also do the same for Conservatives and any other Political party. I just do not like any politicians, the world would be a better place if there were no politicians of any kind as all they do is divide the nation, cause trouble with other nations, cause wars and send other mothers sons and daughters to be killed just to fill their own egos, and make themselves rich at the Tax Payers expense.
Cheers
Brian.

Re: Drink
Not sure about UK but here in Oz the Labor party say they are for all and all are equal, just that some like the politicians, are more equal than others.
They spruce on about equal rights but do not practice them.
The last Labor gov set up a 'Fair work Commission' to determine a fair arte of pay for many workers and to oversee conditions.
On July 1 a new set of rules regarding overtime came from the commission.
Labor did not like it and with the help of Unions are challenging it in the high court, might get them a few extra votes.
They get regular pay increases set by an independent body, but on the recommendations of the parliament.
Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.
