Vic I'm on freeview I just tried that 155 and nothing.I'm viewing 3 I press 155 and it just bounces back to 3 unless the channel 155 doesn't start until later.

Jim, on my TV definitely c 155. Try returning, there has been a lot if changes on Freeview in the past few weeks.

Watched that Vic, My how our M.N. Has changed,
1, The cadets where put threw there classroom and practical Seamanship training, Will be interested how much of it they actually put into practice.
2. Windy hammer chipping decks a job we all undertook on deck,
3. Was i seeing correct they rigged a painting stage with polypropylene, And the Bowline tied each end i would never have risked over the side.
4. Dont ships carry Hemp, Manila, or Sizzle gantlines anymore.
5. Apparently no one is allowed to go any higher than 6 meters above deck these days Elf @Safety.
6 I have been higher on a topmast.
7. I think the only exercises i could see them undertaking after there survival course is righting an upturned life raft or abandoning ship. or fire at sea.
8. I suppose its the sign of the times and the wind of change, Strange thing was we never seen any deck hands at work, Because of course there are very few British Merchant Seaman. Still i will turn the page and see what happens at the end of there 3 month voyage. Enjoyable Vic cheers Terry.

Terry, what surprised me was the girls splicing the ropes, I thought that had been been banned under HSE,as you could not guarantee it's safe duty.

Me to Vic, I never experienced an urgency to put a multi plat splice together aboard any ship in a mooring line and thats one task as you say they will never undergo regardless of gender, And if that skippers inspection on the Sunday morning which we all experienced was a striking off from the skipper heaven help them if they had been with us, A shower in every cabin i remember doing a 4 month run down South America on a Federal boat we had no tiles on the showers decks floors Steel only. Things have changed alright i suppose for the better them cabins where like 4 **** hotel rooms Regards Terry.
