##hi hugh got your email what a treat to see his photo from so long agoi have the brothersv together but in yongeryears ie 20s or so ......you have worked wonders i can only say thanks for you input ....the crete boom was interesting and as yo may no lies wrecked off the west coast of ireland ...he still died very young and i will try to find his cause of death there are still members in the shetland now only one left i spoke to him over xmas.didnt know about the RN but something new .....my granda WILLIAM ARTHUR cram i believe was also wrecked in the ist war and mined in the second as i have said before an AB lost on the ship was the father of a lovely girl i courted inshields and niether of us new about it my granda blown into the water and her dad forrard where the mine hit lost altogether ...sadly she has passed now.....he was AB ross ....SSHALO my granda second mate standing by aft at the time once again thanks cappy

I believe cram boy was a rating on a vessel carrying animals as there are to or three with that rating on the ship you suggest regards cappy

That is incredible the brother sinclair died at dunston staithes some 12 years after his brother anrew drowned of the ship malabar at dunston.....my granny told me many times dont go to dunston i only ever went once to pay off one of corys the corfen.....thanks to you guys for all this......marion may be kind enough to find some info on sinclairs rn status regards cappy
