Waste of time those stamps, most get used by other family members and very few now write letters. The younger generation will never know what a letter is apart from a French one. When writing to any gov department, or my MP, local council etc all ways put Reply Paid on the envelope. They get a postal allowance we do not, so they can well afford it.

When I was (serious) a shortwave listener and radio ham as a teenager Portishead always used to send me the propagation predictions if I called.

We still can get Aerogrammes here in OZ though I think they are trying to phase them out. Brian W.

My wife and I send something in the order of 40/50 Christmas cards, that`s just o/seas not local and we are finding that the last couple of years cost of postage has gone through the roof here in OZ.
The fact the chief of Australia salary gets paid many million of $ per year could have a lot to do with plus of course don`t write letters any more (emails) so us that still put quill to parchment have to make up the short fall.
The bit that makes me smile is the head man who runs US mail gets under one Mill. a year and would have to say that I`m sure US postal set up must out strip our service with a population of less than 22 million....Brian W.

Not seen them here in Melbourne for years, but they may be available if you ask.
I agree, overseas postage in criminal at the cost. But at least local we can use the seniors stamps at 60 cents.
