    Default MV Black Watch

Fred Olsen have reported that the MV Black Watch suffered a fire in an auxiliary engine room today. The main engines are undamaged but large parts of the ship are without electrical power.
The crew managed to extinguish the lames, no crew or passengers were injured.
The ship managed to limp into Madeira, where the damage will be assessed.
The Black Watch was completed in 1972 by OY Wartsila, Helsinki as Royal Viking Star.
She has had a varied career, purchased by Fred Olsen in 1996 and renamed Black Watch.
    Regards
    Vic
