Re: Words we will never use again.
'Stupidity' a word that will never go out of fashion and I know its contrary to the initial theme, but didn't want to start a new post.
It is reported that an American tug captain attached to a petroleum push barge, ordered a crew member to heat up a valve with a propane torch to help the flow of oil, does anyone want to guess the result! the barge of course blew up killing the crew member and spilling 600,000 gallons of oil into the river. The captain was jailed for six months. It beggars belief that no matter how dumb you are that you would even obey an order to operate a propane torch near any kind of fuel

#132... Sounds funny calling him my lad as is 50 in a couple of months time. My daughter has turned 50 and I still see them as children. I cant seem to get the arithmetic right as consider myself still about 60ish. Whats it like getting to your age Cappy or should I say Methusalist or her male counterpart, she was the Harlot of Jerusalem if memory right, as that well known song Oh Aye Methusilism the harlot of Jerusalem. Cheers JS
