Re: pneumonia
Get well soon John. You are spot on re steroids. My wife Joy who suffers terribly with lung trouble has been on the damn things for nearly three years. The poor lass has gone from a Bantam weight to a ten stone light heavy. I am very careful as to casual remarks re such matters.

Re: pneumonia
Best wishes for a quick recovery, John. I ended up with psoriasis following many blood transfusions nearly three years ago and was was prescribed steroids by an eminent skin specialist that only made it worse. A young pharmacist at our local pharmacy got my GP to accept her prescription AC SAL 4% LPC 6% in sorbolene cream AD100G 100 which she made up and there has been no additional patches and the rest is slowly but surely diminishing.
I do hope Joy can find a better answer to her condition Neil.

Re: pneumonia
Sorry to hear that you have not been too well John, but hopefully you are now on the mend. Take good care and look after yourself. Pneumonia can be very nasty I am told. Get well soon.
Regards
John C.

Re: pneumonia
Best wishes John, I had it in July last year, took around 10 weeks in all before I got my strength back. Trying to sleep sitting up was a real nuisance. Now just bouts of coughing to contend with
usually brought on with laughing

Re: pneumonia
They say a lot of elderly people die with pneumonia the cause is lying in bed for long periods of time, in the same position. Causing the partial collapse of the lungs, is most likely why elderly persons are always turned whilst lying in hospital beds. JS
